who

Nigel has spent his entire working life in the IT industry, starting back in 1985 as a humble programmer for Lloyds Bank in London. Since that time he has travelled worldwide undertaking a myriad of projects as diverse as installing systems into timeshare and hotel resorts in the Mediterranean for a small American software company, through to troubleshooting trading systems in a Japanese bank in Hong Kong for a large multinational organisation. He has spent time on both private and public sector assignments, and for the Department for Work and Pensions achieved “forty in a fortnight” when deploying to and training head office users with their new Blackberry handhelds.

Here are some comments from Nigel’s managers on his recent projects.

“Nigel worked for me for a number of years and carried out his role with great distinction. As well as being technically very competent he also had a great work ethic and excellent manner when dealing with customers.
He was a good listener ensuring he fully understood customers requirements before being technically innovative in meeting or exceeding those needs. He would then communicate those solutions clearly and concisely and make complicated issues simple for everyone to understand.”
Terry MinihaneClient Services Manager, BT Global Services

“In a complex IT environment Nigel was able to plan, execute and document system builds and changes with meticulous attention to detail. Nigel is self-reliant and motivated and can be trusted to meet his commitments but when problems arise, he is ready to consult with his peers to seek the best resolution. A pleasure to work with.”
