Free Health Check
Comprehensive tests are run at your workplace or home, taking ~1 hour per machine. You’ll be given a verbal report and an estimate for Poorly PC to complete any remedial work during the same visit. If a second visit is requested, a £30 repeat visit surcharge will apply.
For the free health check to take place, the PC must be in a usable state with a responsive Windows desktop. Should any work be needed to get the PC into this condition prior to the health check, this will be chargeable at the above rates.
If a health check is required on more than one machine, then subsequent tests are undertaken at the regular tariff rates above.
After the free initial investigation, Poorly PC will then provide a verbal estimate for the work to resolve the issue at the rates shown above.
It may be more cost-effective for Poorly PC to work on the computer away from the your premises. This job will be fixed price of £50 (customer drop & collect from Woodbridge), or £60 (Poorly PC collect & return). Poorly PC reserves the right to charge at normal tariff rates for work already undertaken before the decision to complete the task offsite is taken.
Consultancy & Estimated Work
For all estimates given, the above rates will apply. Only the time worked will be charged. Should the job start to exceed the estimated time, you’ll be informed and agree any extra cost.
Poorly PC reserves the right to charge an additional £30 for any visit made outside of the normal area of business. This will be agreed before an appointment is made, and is excluded from the maximum amounts per visit shown in the table above.
